River View Lodge is located on the banks of the Orange River. Exploring the banks is a common evening or early morning excursion. The center of town is less than 2km away allowing for a leisurely stroll there and back. For those seeking a bit more adventure an excursion to the old fort is worth the slightly added effort. Built by the British during the Boer War is is made of Tiger's Eye.
